A Valentine’s Dinner with the Destin Parks Foundation

An Invite-Only Evening

The Destin Parks Foundation Board of Directors is hosting Love Where You Live, a Valentine’s Dinner at La Paz Restaurant & Cantina, for a committed group of community members whose engagement, leadership, and care for Destin reflect the values the Foundation seeks to strengthen through its parks.

Those invited play an important role in shaping the places where our community gathers. The evening is intended to be welcoming and social, with time to enjoy dinner together, connect with others who care deeply about Destin, and hear more about where the Foundation is headed next. Guests will receive a first look at the Foundation’s 2026 direction and how we are fulfilling our mission to enrich the lives of our community through vibrant, accessible, and sustainable park spaces that celebrate natural beauty, shared history, and connection. Guests will also hear early plans for improvements at Clement Taylor Park, including the initial design for the Destin Schoolhouse Pavilion. This project will serve as the Foundation’s first focused fundraising initiative, and attendees will have an early look at how the community will be invited to participate, including a commemorative brick campaign connected to the pavilion.
