A Permanent Legacy in Our Community
Clement Taylor Park is one of Destin’s most treasured waterfront spaces and has served families, fishermen, children, and visitors for decades. As the City of Destin completes major renovations to the park — including a new restroom facility, second pavilion, ADA-compliant playground, expanded parking, renovated fishing dock, and upgraded walkways — the Destin Parks Foundation is inviting the community to become a permanent part of this transformation.
By purchasing an engraved brick, your support will help fund park improvements consistent with the Foundation’s mission and bylaws, one of our goals includes creating a lasting tribute at Clement Taylor Park.
Installation Timeline:
- Order Deadline: January 31, 2027
- Installation is planned for Fall of 2026
Bricks received after the deadline may be included in a future phase, if space allows.
How it works:
- Complete the Brick engraving information in either the Online method via Zeffy or the downloadable method and submit it with your check.
- Brick details include:
- The bricks will be part of the Clement Park Pavilion Renovation
- Each brick is $500 and will be laid with your engraving
- The engraving will be on the side of the brick
- Engraving will be in ALL Capital LETTERS centered up to 2 lines
- Each line can have up to 21 spaces
- Any Symbol is considered one space (Period, Comma, Dash)
City of Destin’s Clement Taylor Renovation Plans
The City of Destin’s Clement Taylor Park Renovation project includes:
- Demolition of the existing 30+ year-old restroom facility
- Construction of a new restroom building and second picnic pavilion
- ADA-compliant playground expansion with equipment for multiple age groups and special needs
- Reconfiguration of parking for increased capacity
- Renovation of the fishing dock
- Replacement of aging concrete pathways
What the Destin Parks Foundation is doing in conjunction with the City of Destin:
- assist with a refurbishment of the pavillion in the old school house footprint
